Canvas Prints for Local Pickup in Sámara

 

Every print is produced only after you place an order. For local pickup prints in Sámara, Costa Rica, we partner with a professional San José based photo lab to ensure gallery quality materials and craftsmanship. 

Orders are printed, framed, packaged, and shipped in about a week and typically arrive to Samara within 2 weeks of the order being placed.

Please forgive any delays as our beautiful, rural, and tropical location sometimes presents unexpected challenges such as bad weather, local holidays, road construction etc.

Made‑to‑Order Prints

Every print is produced only after you place an order. We partner with Artelo, a professional U.S.‑based print‑on‑demand lab, to ensure museum‑quality materials and craftsmanship. Orders are printed, framed and packaged in-house within 1–3 business days, allowing us to maintain strict quality control before shipping.

 

Production & Shipping Times

 

Production time is consistent and takes 1–3 business days. Once your order is ready, it is shipped at the end of the production day. Estimated transit times depend on destination:

United States 2–3 business days after shipping (Arrives in 3-6 business days)
Canada 3–5 business days after shipping (Arrives in 4-8 business days)
All other countries (Central & South America, Europe, Asia, Africa, Caribbean, Oceania & the Falkland Islands) 5–8 business days after shipping (Arrives in one to two weeks)

*Transit time begins once the order leaves our facility. Total delivery time ≈ 1–3 days (production) + transit time.

 

Packaging

 

Your prints are protected in transit and are packed tightly in corrugated boxes with corner protectors and face padding; frames are further secured with corner guards, shrink wrap and snug boxes.

Because different products require different packaging, orders containing multiple items (e.g., prints and framed pieces) may ship in separate packages. You will receive individual tracking numbers for each package.


Shipping Rates & Carriers

 

We offer free shipping within the United States.

Outside of the USA, shipping charges depend on product weight and destination. Shipping will be calculated at checkout when you provide your shipping address. Our production partner Artelo chooses the most cost‑effective carrier for each order based on destination, weight and desired delivery speed.

All shipments are fully trackable; tracking numbers are emailed once your order ships and automatically update on your customer account or order status page.

 

Duties, Taxes & Import Fees

 

Any applicable sales/VAT taxes will be calculated at checkout.

For orders shipping outside the United States, our production partner Artelo uses a Delivered Duty Paid (DDP) model, so international customers do not pay import duties or taxes upon delivery. Those costs are included in our shipping rates.

 

Order Issues & Support

 

Your order is carefully packaged and inspected before shipping. In the rare event your print arrives damaged, please contact us at hello@billburdenphotography.com within 7 days of delivery with photos of the item and packaging so we can arrange a replacement.
